James worked for over 12 years as NASA's JWST Sunshield Manager, working with his NASA team and the Northrop contractor team to develop this extremely complex system from preliminary design through mission success. After launching on Christmas day in 2021, the team accomplished the most complex and challenging series of in-space deployments NASA has ever attempted.
